COMPASSIONATE CARE THAT HELPS LOVED ONES STAY SAFELY AT HOME.

At Hope Alive Care Services LLC, we believe that home is more than a place. It is where people feel familiar, comfortable, respected, and connected to the people and routines that matter most.

As our loved ones age or experience changes in their health and abilities, remaining at home can sometimes become challenging. A hospital stay, rehabilitation, nursing-home discharge, a diagnosis of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, or simply the increasing challenges of everyday life can leave families wondering: “How are we going to care for our loved one at home?” That is where Hope Alive Care Services comes in.

Care That Begins With Listening

Every individual and every family is different. Some families need help for a few hours each week. Others need substantial daily assistance. Some families contact us because a loved one is returning home from the hospital or rehabilitation. Others have been caring for a parent, spouse, or family member for months or years and have reached the point where they simply cannot do everything alone.

We begin by listening. Through our complimentary in-home assessment, we take time to understand the individual’s needs, daily routines, preferences, abilities, challenges, and the concerns of the family. From there, we work with the family to develop a personalized approach to care and support. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all care. We believe in the right support, at the right time, for the right person.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions About Home Care

Straight answers to the questions families ask us most.

What is non-medical home care?

Non-medical home care is help with everyday life at home. Caregivers assist with bathing, dressing, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, errands, rides and companionship. It does not include nursing tasks such as wound care, injections or therapy.

Which areas of Middle Tennessee do you serve?

We are based in Spring Hill and serve families in Brentwood, Franklin, Nashville, Columbia and nearby communities in Williamson, Maury and Davidson Counties. If you are not sure whether we cover your area, call us at 615-622-5375.

How do families pay for home care?

We accept private pay. Original Medicare generally does not pay for non-medical home care when that is the only care needed. Some long-term care insurance policies may help with costs, so it is worth checking your loved one's policy.

How many hours of care can we schedule?

Care is flexible. Some families start with a few hours a week, while others need daily visits, overnight help or 24-hour care. The schedule is set during your free in-home assessment and can change as needs change.

Can a caregiver drive my loved one to appointments?

Yes. Our caregivers can drive your loved one to doctor visits, the pharmacy, the grocery store, church and other errands, and stay with them during the trip.

Can you help someone with dementia stay at home?

Yes. Our caregivers support people living with dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's with calm routines, supervision, personal care, medication reminders and companionship, so they can stay in familiar surroundings for as long as it is safe.

Can you help when a loved one comes home from the hospital?

Yes. A caregiver can pick your loved one up on discharge day, help them settle in and provide day-to-day support while they recover. Our care is non-medical and works alongside any home health services ordered by the doctor.

What happens during the free in-home assessment?

We visit your loved one's home, talk with your family about their needs, routines and safety, and answer your questions. Then we recommend a care plan and schedule. There is no cost and no obligation.
